Meet Julie Bryan
Charcoal sketches with my grandfather, exploring drafting tools in my grandad’s shed, and the smell of sawdust while building picnic tables with my dad all sparked my early love for design.
After earning my Interior Design degree from Florida State University in 2009, I began in kitchen and bath design, learning the foundation of functionality and detail. My path also led me into wedding design, where I discovered the beauty of color, texture, and creating experiences that bring people together. For six years, I honed my skills in client care, project management, florals, lighting, and creative storytelling.
Eventually, I found my way back to interiors—joining Arhaus Furniture and returning to my roots in design. Today, through Rooted in Light, I blend my love of function, beauty, and connection to create homes that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
